I'm always on the look for books that might appeal to my son. He's begging to read The Hunger Games and Divergent (he's 12) so I will. But ever since his obsession with Harry Potter, he just can't find a series that makes him WANT to read.

I'm of the opinion that whatever he wants to read--be it his Reptile Magazine, or graphic novels--great. I even look for nonfiction for him. I'm even thinking of adding some blogs/sites to his ereader for him to read.

His sister is an easy reader and was on me about getting him to read more. Spoken like a reader who is not a parent ;) (she's 19)

Between books, ebooks, blogs, etc I never have a lack of reading.

(Thanks for your awesome comment on my blog! I appreciate it!!)The Rainbow Zebrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10556423049067122472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237885731203042608.post-83799318765196216642014-02-27T17:34:32.189-08:002014-02-27T17:34:32.189-08:00Great post. I have the opposite problem here, the girls are constantly reading and I have 20-50 books at a time around the house, keeping track of library books during the summer- pain! I have bins for each library then and it helps. I don't know why they like to read so much, I did read to them, I didn't force them to read certain things, so who knows. I am an avid reader and I think it's just by seeing me with a book that made them like that. Who knows?Liese4https://www.blogger.com/profile/10055462744074552860noreply@blogger.com
